What one row means
One row is one minute (UTC, minute start) with open, high, low and close of the bid-side quote.
Minutes without a quote are absent rather than filled. The market is shut from Friday evening to Sunday evening UTC and on some holidays, so a full year has roughly two-thirds of all calendar minutes (353,951 rows in 2025).
Timestamps were normalised to UTC across daylight-saving changes. A few hundred hours in Feb–Jul 2023 were filled from a second quote feed on the same bid-side basis.
Load it in Python and export CSV
import pandas as pd
df = pd.read_parquet('XAUUSD_SPOT_1min_2025-01-01_2025-12-31.parquet').set_index('datetime')
h1 = df.resample('1h').agg({'open': 'first', 'high': 'max', 'low': 'min', 'close': 'last'}).dropna()
df.to_csv('xauusd_m1_2025.csv') # CSV: datetime,open,high,low,close
df.index = df.index.tz_convert('Asia/Kolkata') # optional: IST
XAU/USD versus MCX gold
XAU/USD is the international spot gold rate in dollars per ounce, quoted almost round the clock on weekdays. MCX GOLD and GOLDM are rupee-denominated Indian futures with their own session; they are sold separately in the MCX pack.
