What the funding files contain
One file per perpetual, named <SERIES>_PERP_FUNDING_FUT_1hour_…. Each row is one hour (UTC, hour start) with funding_rate_pct_open, funding_rate_pct_high, funding_rate_pct_low and funding_rate_pct_close: the published funding rate in percent. A value of 0.01 means 0.01%.
Pair it with the 1-minute perpetual file of the same series (OHLC and mark-price OHLC) to study carry, basis and how funding moves around large price moves.
Some series end earlier than others; the table above lists the exact span of every USDT and USD perpetual and its funding file. The pack also has older BTC-margined and expired dated series, listed on the pack page.
Load funding next to price (pandas)

hourly = px.resample('1h').agg({'open': 'first', 'high': 'max', 'low': 'min',
'close': 'last'})
hourly = hourly.join(fr['funding_rate_pct_close'], how='left')
print(hourly['funding_rate_pct_close'].describe())

FAQ
Where can I download historical crypto funding rates?
AI Options Data Store includes hourly funding-rate history for every perpetual in its crypto packs (11 coins in the Top 10 pack, ₹6,999; BTC only, ₹2,999), as Parquet with UTC timestamps.
What unit is the funding rate in?
Percent. funding_rate_pct_close = 0.01 means 0.01% for that funding interval as published.
Why is funding stored as hourly OHLC?
So it lines up with hourly price bars. Each row holds the first, highest, lowest and last published value in that hour.
Which coins are covered?
BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, DOGE, ADA, AVAX, LINK, LTC and DOT. Start and end dates differ by coin and series; see the coverage table on this page.
Is open interest included?
No. The crypto files carry OHLC, mark price and funding; there is no open interest column.
