How does this differ from the free BANKNIFTY data sets online?
The widely-shared free sets are index (spot) 1-minute series, not option chains. Where a free set does contain options, it is usually the near-week expiry only and carries no open interest. The difference matters for any strategy that trades a spread or holds through a roll.
Which expiries are included?
Through July 2026, the near-month (monthly) expiry for each trading day, plus the next month around expiry; from August 2026, the three listed monthly expiries. Weekly BANKNIFTY expiries are not included. Files are named by expiry date.
