FAQ

Does the NIFTY options data include open interest?

Yes. Every row carries open_interest for that strike and side at that minute, alongside open, high, low, close and volume. This is the main thing the free NIFTY datasets do not have — most of them are OHLCV-only.

Are all strikes and expiries included, or only the near-week?

All of them. For every trading day in your range you get every strike on both calls and puts, for every expiry that was live on that day — weekly and monthly. Free dumps generally carry only the nearest expiry.

What file format do I get?

Option chains are delivered as Parquet, and continuous series as CSV. Both are readable by pandas in one line. Column names and dtypes are listed on the file schema page.

How is NIFTY options data priced?

As fixed one-time packs, not a subscription: the last 3 months (₹1,499), a single calendar year (₹2,999), the 3-year options pack (₹7,249) or NIFTY Complete with futures and spot (₹7,999). No annual licence and no GST added.

Can I redistribute or resell the data?

No. The licence is for your own research, backtesting and internal use. Redistribution, resale and republishing the raw files are not permitted — see the terms page.

Why does the history not go back to 2015?

This archive's continuous NIFTY 1-minute options series starts in January 2023 (a handful of June 2021 sessions also exist but are not a continuous series). We only sell what we hold; the coverage table above shows the real first date.

Which columns are in the NIFTY option files?

OHLC, volume, open interest and contract fields (expiry, strike, call/put). Files from Jul 2023 to 14 Aug 2026 also include an iv column taken as-is from the data feed; it is not independently computed or verified. No Greeks, no bid/ask. Column names follow two layouts — see the file schema page.

How do I pay?

UPI. You place the order, pay the exact amount to the UPI ID shown on the order page, submit the UTR reference, and the download link is issued once payment is confirmed.
